You will arrive at Busuanga Airport, on the island of Coron, midafternoon to late evening the first day. Our guide will meet you at the airport and take you back to our awesome accommodations in the islands main town. The first night we get the group familiarized with our surroundings and give you a rundown of what to expect over the next 10 days and 9 nights. The fun in the sun begins Day 2 as we hit the water for our first island hopping tour, taking in the beautiful and dramatic sights of Coron. Day 3 is a free day for you to spend as you please. Laze the day away on the beach, take a soak in the natural hot springs, or participate in one of the many incredible island hopping tours available in Coron.
Early in the morning of Day 4 we board a small plane in Coron (or a ferry boat in low season) for the 30 minute trip to El Nido (3.5 hours via ferry in low season). We spend our first day familiarizing ourselves with the town before we hit the beach for dinner and a little beach bar hopping. Day 5 the group embarks on the legendary “Tour A”, an island-hopping adventure through some of El Nido’s most stunning islands, beaches and lagoons. Day 6 is free for you to explore the beaches, islands and jungles of this incredible tropical wonderland. Day 7 we head back out on the water for the incredible “Tour C”. There is no shortage of sights to behold here in El Nido, one of the most beautiful island destinations in the world, let alone the Philippines.
Day 8 we make our way from El Nido to the capital city of Palawan, Puerto Princesa. Our first evening in town we explore the main strip in Puerto Princesa, Rizal Ave, where we will pick a spot for dinner before checking out the laid back night life in town. Day 9 the group hits the emerald waters of Honda Bay for one last day of incredible Palawan island hopping. On our way back to our accommodations we make a pit stop at the markets for some souvenir shopping before we head out to one of our favorite restaurants in Puerto for a send off dinner for the guests booked only on the first 10 days of our trip, and a relaxing evening at some of the many hip lounges/bars in our area.
The morning of Day 10 we will be picked up from our resort in Puerto Princesa and taken back to the airport for our flight to Caticlan airport, near the island of Boracay. Our transfer van will pick us up at the airport and take us to the Caticlan pier where we’ll board a traditional banca boat for the short 15-minute ride to Boracay Island. Once on the island another minibus will take us from the Boracay pier to our awesome group accommodations on Bulabog Beach. Our first day in town we get the group acquainted with the layout of the island and a trip to the famous White Beach. Day 12 the group hits the open water on our private banca boat for an awesome day trip including cliff jumping, lunch at the natural cold water springs and a trip to Boracay’s new ocean front craft distillery, where we can taste their delicious creations and relax in the pool!! Our last day in town is yours to spend the way you like, with a bounty of incredible options available on this beautiful island. One popular optional activity is the Sunset Cruise, which we are able to get our guests at a great discount through our awesome partners on the island.
This is as complicated as our transportation gets. Day 13 we transfer back to the airport in Caticlan, where we then fly from Caticlan to Cebu. Once in Cebu we transfer from the airport to the seaport, where we hop the ferry over to Bohol. Once in Bohol, a driver will be waiting to take us to our awesome apartment style accommodations on Panglao Island. It’s a bit of a long day, but we get there early enough in the evening to head down to the gorgeous Alona Beach for dinner, drinks and the incredible sunset. Day 14 the group embarks on one of the most exciting group activities of the trip. We visit the famous chocolate hills, see some of the smallest primates in the world, cruise down a jungle river on a pontoon boat with lunch and live entertainment, and stop in at the E.A.T. Danao adventure park where you can zip line across a stunning rainforest river canyon, plunge 200m off a cliff on a “superman swing”, try your hand at “root climbing” and more. This day trip is always a guest favorite. Day 15 is a free day to spend as you like. Many guests like to laze the day away on one of the many beautiful beaches in the area, but Bohol is also home to some world class diving and snorkelling, and happens to be a great place to spot sea turtles!
Day 16 we hop the ferry from Bohol back to Cebu and transfer to the airport for our flight to Siargao. Our drivers meet us at the airport in Siargao and take us to our awesome accommodations in General Luna. Our first day on the island we get accommodated and enjoy some free time to explore the cool and laid back town of General Luna. Day 17 we gear up for one of the most memorable days of the entire trip as we load up our private boats for a day of island hopping, including all of our adult refreshments and a delicious BBQ lunch on one of Siargao’s stunning tropical islands. Days 18 and 19 are free days where you can use your time learning to surf, plunging into crystal clear lagoons, or soaking up the wild vistas on one of the many picturesque beaches. Day 18 we will arrange an optional day trip where we hire a private Jeepney (if you haven’t heard of one, google it) and take you around to some really cool spots that not many travellers to the island take the time to venture to. Siargao is wild, rugged, beautiful and there are a LOT of hidden treasures to discover. The evening of Day 19 the group gets together at one of our favorite restaurants in General Luna for a send off dinner and relaxing final evening at some of the areas hip & laid-back lounges/bars. Say goodbye to the amazing new friends you’ve made over the past 19 days, and prepare yourself for your onward journey home. The next morning, Day 20 is your departure day and airport transfers will be available at any time throughout the day. Or perhaps like many of our guests, you will be having so much fun you’ll want to join us for another 12 days on the next leg of our journey in Cambodia!
* This trip does not include a stop in Manila. For guests arriving in/departing from Manila, our Adventure Leaders will be able to help you arrange flights to and from Coron and Siargao. Domestic flights in the Philippines are simple and very inexpensive to book. If you have a day or two to kill before or after your trip our amazing partners in Manila will be happy to accommodate you, show you around and help you arrange onward transportation to the airport.
