The Beaches, Islands and Jungles Adventure showcases some of our favorite spots in Southern Thailand. We start this adventure off on the lakeside of one of Thailand’s most stunning national parks, soaking in the sights and sounds of a lush tropical jungle abound with opportunities for adventure. We then head over to the Andaman coast of Thailand where we explore the legendary beaches, islands and karst mountains of Krabi Province. Float through the forest down a lazy river, dive off your doorstep into a crystal clear lake, enjoy some of the best climbing in the world, or party the night away on the most stunning beaches you’ve ever seen. The options certainly don’t end there on this 10 day journey packed with jaw dropping sights and endless opportunities to enjoy the adventure of a lifetime. You’ll arrive in Surat Thani early in the afternoon on day 1, where your Far Out Adventure Leader will be waiting at the airport. We hop in a minibus and head straight to Khao Sok National Park, our first destination. After a short meet and greet over lunch, we get the good vibes flowing as we pack up the coolers and hit the river for an afternoon of tubing. Day 2 you will spend one of the most incredible days of your trip exploring the beautiful Cheow Lan Lake. Grab a kayak and hit the water, then trek through one of the most bio diverse rain forests in the world to caves and stunning forest pools and waterfalls. Khao Sok is always a big crowd-pleaser.
We leave Khao Sok in a private minibus that takes us to the pier in Krabi, Southern Thailand. From there we board a ferry to our next destination, the Phi Phi Islands. Here you can enjoy world class diving and snorkeling, island hopping trips, viewpoint hikes, the jaw dropping Maya Bay made famous by the film “The Beach” (day trip included), and of course the famous Phi Phi night life scene which rivals the best in all of SE Asia.
Day 7 we board a fast ferry from the pier in Phi Phi for the 75-minute ride to Railay Beach. Railay is actually made up of 3 beaches (well, 4 technically) that are surrounded by stunning jagged limestone cliffs. Boat is the only way in to this beautiful little paradise with no roads or cars. Known for it’s world class rock climbing and world class beaches, Railay is an supremely beautiful place with a super unique and laid back local culture.
From Railay we take a short 15-minute boat ride to Ao Nang where we catch a private minibus to the airport in Krabi. Rather than shave a day off your trip on the bus or train, we fly you back to Bangkok so we can enjoy our last night in Thailand together. Once in the big city we treat the group to a round of warm up drinks at our guesthouse, then we hit Khao San Rd for an epic send off party!
Please note: This tour does not start in Bangkok. The meeting point for arriving guests will be Surat Thani airport in Southern Thailand. For guests arriving internationally in Bangkok, you will need to connect to Surat Thani via Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport or Hualumphong train station.
